1st Timer Training is for those interested in becoming a certified mediator for UCF and the UCF community.
RSVP by completing a registration form (space is very limited). We fill the class by first registered first trained basis. Training participants MUST be able to attend the 2 days for the full duration each day in order to complete mediation training.

The Brown Bag session is a brief (1 hour) workshop highlighting various conflict management and dispute resolution topics. This continuing education workshop is for interested participants who want to learn new skills, brush up on old skills, or learn more about the field of alternative dispute resolution. Sessions are provided at no cost; however, participants are asked to bring their own lunch. Please e-mail spfarris@mail.ucf.edu to RSVP attendance to a brown bag session one week prior to the session. You will receive an electronic confirmation and reminder from a member of the DRS staff regarding important details regarding the event (i.e. location, changes in date/time).
The Refresher session is for certified 1st Timer Trainers. It serves as a continuing education seminar that will keep the mediator up to date on their skills. The refresher sessions sometimes focus on current events or serve as a follow up to questions brought up by current certified mediators. Please print and complete a refresher session registration form and fax it to the address below.
